Travel should be a wonderful, fun adventure once you reach your destination. It’s important to remember not to over-schedule, and leave time to just enjoy an area. Strolling the quaint streets, shopping for unique treasures, and sitting down for a coffee or a beer at a café table is part of European life. So remember to slow down and enjoy yourself.

For a fascinating show almost anywhere, listen to the café servers slide from one language to another as they move about their tables. Many Europeans who work in tourism speak the Big 5 Languages of English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German well, and also know a bit of several more. We try to at least learn Please and Thank You in the language of the country we’re visiting.

Planning for a trip anywhere in Europe can be overwhelming, between not knowing exactly what to expect once you arrive, and what you may have forgotten. But of course looking forward to a trip is half the fun. We love to travel, and hope to help others travel with ease with these tips.

Happy Travel Planning!
