Paris 2024!!!! Rob worked the Olympic Games in Paris for his summer vacation, and I visited family in North Carolina. I’m pretty sure we had equally amazing experiences.
Working with Team USA at the Summer Games in Paris was an exciting and exhausting experience filled with meeting up with former colleagues and meeting new friends. This being Rob’s third Olympic Games, he was fully aware of what he was getting into by volunteering to go back to Team V, Acrobat and Combat Sports, to help fuel the athletes.
Time spent with family is always exciting and with six nieces and nephews around, every step turns into a race for gold, or at least a race to see who gets the first Cinnamon Roll. LOL. I had a blast with the family, taking in all the hugs I could squeeze in during my short time at home.
So that’s what we did on our Summer Vacation(s)! Now, we’re both back in Stuttgart, for the last hot days of summer. Congratulations to all the athletes who participated in the Olympics!
Paris Summer Olympics 2024, as the city of love reveals a world of champions. From boxing to wrestling, swimming to equestrian, athletics to handball. Athletes from 206 countries, plus a refugee team, compete against the best in the world. What an amazing event, such excitement from everyone who was able to attend, either as athlete, coach, support staff, or fan. What a fabulous Summer Vacation indeed!
