It’s time for Spring Fest 2024 in Germany, and here in our host-city, the Stuttgarter Frühlingsfest is the largest spring festival in Europe. The large carnival setting includes rides, food stands, drinks stands, and massive beer tents. It is similar to the fall folk festival in Stuttgart, and also much like Munich’s famous Oktoberfest.
We pulled out our dirndl and lederhosen outfits, and met friends for a fun afternoon in the Grandls tent. Beer tents offer reservations for either lunchtime, 11.00 – 16.00, or evening, 17.00 – 22.00. We highly recommend the lunchtime session for great fun, and of course, the rest of the day and night is all good recovery time!
At Grandl’s, the chefs, bartenders, servers, and the band do an amazing job keeping their tent full of thousands of partiers happy. They keep the beer, wine, and food coming, and music rocking, with impressive skills of strength and endurance. Here’s a quick look at Fest in action:

Everyone here is very excited for an even bigger fest coming to our area this summer. Germany will welcome millions of football fans from all around Europe for the Euro 2024 championship in June – July. We’re certainly looking forward to going to Fan Zones here in Stuttgart for a fun time!
